Italian GP Practice Three: Sebastian Vettel keeps Ferrari on top

Sebastian Vettel set the speed in the GP since Ferrari stayed although the German was just ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen at a surprising timesheet prior to qualifying.
Vettel’s 1:20.294 on his qualy simulation ensured Ferrari maintained their perfect start to their home Grand Prix, but their advantage over their competitors was tiny P3 with Verstappen, that will start at the back of the grid in the race, only 0.032so slower.

Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas and Charles Leclerc, the in-form Ferrari driver that topped the timesheets in both of Friday’s sessionswere also a tenth ago and also their times were identical.
«If you would like to see some competition at Ferrari, it’s important for Vettel to have had something to make him feel much better in this particular session,» explained Sky F1′s David Croft.
Daniel Ricciardo was a surprise fifth for Renault, that are thriving on the long Monza straights.
The six were divided by, while less than another split Vettel initially and McLaren’s Lando Norris in 14th.
«It is going to be really fun to watch this qualifying session as it’s impossible to predict at the moment who is going to be in front,» explained Sky F1′s Nico Rosberg, the 2016 world champion.
Qualifying begins at 2pm on Sky Sports F1 from 1pm.
Due to Verstappen’s engine penalty, Alex Albon is likely to be the Red Bull pushing in qualifying but he ended P3 in eighth off his team-mate and supporting Nico Hulkenberg at another Renault.
The battle for Q3 looks like it is going to be as near as at Monza, F1′s Temple of Speed, though Haas seem while Williams propped up the timesheets to be fighting.
